These oil paintings by Mike S. Mall should not be seen as the original artwork,
 but rather as the artists interpretation of the original ink and pen work of
 art by such great artists like Joe Jusko, Jack Kirby, John Romita, Brian
 Bolland, Frank Frazetta, Alex Horley, Billy Tucci, Mark Sparacio, Alex
 Ross, John Buscema, Dave Dorman, Ron Garney, and indeed
 many other fine comic book artists.

Proper credits therefore to all the artists and creators of the once original
 artwork. We do not claim that the comics paintings presented herein
 are the original artwork as such, but indeed large Original Oil
 Paintings, created by Mike, and intended as an alternative for
 those not interested in mass-produced posters or prints.

    

Using the traditional method of creating a genuine oil painting, the artist will
 apply several individual layers, allowing each one time to dry before
 the next layer can be applied.

This method surely ensures a superb quality, and colours, consistency and
 durability will last for a lifetime.
       

     
We do not offer framed and "ready to hang" paintings because of the high
 shipping cost, due to the weight of the canvas, stretcher bars,
 a suitable frame and a secure packaging.
 
As such, we recommend our clients to use one's local frame shop for the
 stretching and framing process, where it will be done in a correct
 and professional way.

                 

Paintings will be delivered unstretched in a robust protective cardboard
 tube, ready to be mounted on stretcher bars and framed.
